Lamb Tikka Masala Recipe for 4 People


Ingredients:

- 1 lb (450g) boneless lamb pieces, cut into bite-sized chunks

- 1/2 cup plain yogurt

- 1 tablespoon ginger paste

- 1 teaspoon ground cumin

- Juice of half a lemon

- 2 tablespoons ghee or oil

- 1 large onion, finely chopped

- 2 teaspoons ginger paste

- 2 teaspoons garlic paste

- 1 teaspoon ground cumin

- 1 teaspoon ground coriander

- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

- 1/2 teaspoon paprika

- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)

- 1 cup tomato puree

- 1/2 cup heavy cream

- Salt, to taste

- Chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish


Instructions:

1. In a bowl, mix together all the ingredients for the lamb marinade. Add the lamb pieces and coat them thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.
